10 year old All Stars beat up on Litchfield Park!

The 10 year old all stars had their first game of the tournament yesterday and it wasn't close.  Dawson McCarville was tremendous on the hill going 4 innings while allowing just 3 runs.  He also had a great night at the plate with 4 hits.  Jacob Vesecky had 4 hits on the night including a triple with the bases loaded.  Other key contributors at the dish were Logan Ripple, Justin Doolittle, Troy Balko, Cody Garretson and Jared Peirce.... 

The game ended when Litchfield was threatening.  They had runners on 1st and 2nd when a sharp ground ball was hit to Balko at third, he tagged the bag and threw across the diamond for the double play.  Suddenly the guy rounded 2 and headed to 3rd, Cody tossed it back to Troy to complete the game ending TRIPLE PLAY!  The final score was 19-7. 

The 10's are back in action tonight as they face the All Stars from Goodyear.  Stay tuned to this site for all of the results!
